mag%20cover.jpgI was born in southern California and my parents started me out fishing as soon as I could walk. They would take me ocean fishing on party boats and I was instantly hooked. It was a lot of fun and I caught a lot of different species of salt-water fish.

We ended up moving to Northern California when I was in the 2nd grade, there I was fortunate, when we rented a house on a lake for 1 year while my parents were having a house built. My brother and I fished everyday possible and caught anything we could, but primarily bass. We then moved and had about a two-acre pond in the back yard. I fished everyday as soon as I got out of school and between my brother and I caught every fish in that pond several times. My dad saw we had a strong interest in bass fishing. He bought an aluminum boat and was able to take us fishing on the weekends. Soon we joined a local bass club and I started learning the good foundation of bass fishing that I have now. My brother and I worked our way up the ranks and we’re constantly learning as much as possible.

At age 17, I fished the BFL’s and qualified for the All-American becoming the youngest qualifier ever. At that point I knew I could and wanted to become a professional bass fisherman. I read everything I could and watched a lot of fishing TV shows. At age 20 I qualified for the FLW tour, with the support of my friends and family I haven’t looked back. I have competed for five years now on tour, with many top tens, a win at Lewis-Smith Lake and the championship title for 2008, it has certainly been an incredible ride. At the age of 25 I have accomplished more then I ever thought I could, it has been an unbelievable experience. I have been able to travel around the country doing what I love with some of the best and most talented people I could ever speak of. I was fortunate and met my beautiful Fiance in Alabama and we have now been dating for 3 years. I recently moved to Panama City, Flordia full time. I did an extreme coast to coast move, but it makes my fishing career a whole lot easier and you can't beat the weather. I would recommend that everyone follow your dreams because anything can happen if you work hard enough.

I want to thank all my friends and family for your support. Also without my sponsors this couldn’t be possible, so thank you. I definitely want to say a special thanks to all the people who didn’t believe in me because you have given me the drive to become what I am today.
